Time-Honoured Techniques With A Modern Twist
Our experienced team of craftsman uses a combination of the latest techniques and traditional joinery skills to produce period windows, tailored to your home. Manufactured in our dedicated UK workshop, we use a mixture of quality hardwood and special engineered softwood wood, like Accoya, to ensure your new windows are incredibly stable, resist rot and warping. Your new sash windows will look exactly like the originals, while benefiting from draught-elimination, fewer rattles and improved energy efficiency.
The Process
Our process starts with an onsite survey, our friendly and dedicated surveyor will meet you at your property or site to discuss your preferred requirements. Using our specialist design WindowCad software system our designer will be able to look at a variety of your preferred frame designs as well as colour and ironmongery. What's more our designer will be able to show you an impressive visual of your chosen frames displayed on your home in 3D perspective.
Once your windows are ready for installation we will remove your existing windows and boxes delicately to minimise any damage. Your new windows and boxes will be handmade in our dedicated workshop and then carefully fitted, restoring your home’s historical integrity and aesthetic appeal, while improving energy efficiency and reducing noise and dirt ingress.

Here at Prestige Sash we spray finish our bespoke windows and doors using Microporous Teknos paint. We are able to match any colour of your choice including Farrow & Ball and many more.

Accoya Timber
After running tests and reviewing external and independent data, the BRE concluded that Accoya wood, provided best design practice is followed, has a service life expectancy of 60 years when used in exterior applications such as timber windows, doors, cladding, wooden window frames and balconies. The BRE stated that Accoya wood shows excellent durability and stability properties. This position has been positively corroborated by TRADA and Heriott Watt University / Imperial College London conducting similar service life reviews.
